Rita Mitchell

Rita Mitchell has extensive experience in the tax preparation industry, currently serving as Preseason Manager/Multi-unit Team Leader at H&R Block since January 2008. In this role, Rita executes recruiting campaigns, coordinates interviews, assists tax office associates with education requirements, and prepares for tax office open houses. Rita's previous positions at H&R Block include Multi Unit Manager and Interim District Supervisor, where responsibilities included managing staffing and operations for multiple offices, developing growth plans, and conducting performance reviews. Rita also has experience in client service from a brief tenure at Genworth Financial and worked as a designer and event planner at Elliott Florist for over 26 years. Rita attended Central Virginia Community College for education.
