Jack Power

Jack Power has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Jack started their career as a Server at Harry Caray's Tavern in 2014, then served as a Commercial Relations Officer and later became the Chairperson of the DCU Media Production Society. In 2015, they took on the role of Marketing and Communications Officer at St Patrick's College Drumcondra Students' Union.

In 2016, Jack joined S.i. Systems as a Technical Recruiter, where they recruited IT talent for private and public sector clients. Jack conducted interviews, coached candidates, and successfully placed them in various industries. After that, they worked as a Marketing Coordinator at Credential in 2017.

In 2018, Jack had multiple roles. Jack started as a Background Actor at THE EXTRAS DEPT (IRE) LTD and then joined Saunderson House as a Marketing Executive. Jack also worked at Collinson, where they served as a Product Executive and later became a Product Owner.

From 2021 to 2023, Jack's main role was as a Product Owner at VU.CITY. Jack was responsible for delivering and managing a new collaboration space and gateway in the VU.CITY 3D application.

Currently, Jack is working at HR DataHub as a Product Manager, starting in 2023.

Jack Power attended Ardscoil Rís in Dublin from 2006 to 2011, where they did not pursue any specific degree or field of study. Following this, they enrolled at Dublin City University from 2011 to 2015 and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree with a specialization in Marketing, Innovation, and Technology (Hons).

In terms of additional certifications, Jack obtained an Emergency First Responder certification from the Order of Malta Ireland in July 2011. Jack also completed a Television Media Training Course from Kairos Communications Ltd in January 2009. Most recently, they acquired the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from the Scrum Alliance in August 2019.
