Mary Petersen

Mary Petersen, SPHR, is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience across various roles and organizations. Currently serving as an HR Partner at HR Source since April 2021, Mary focuses on providing resources and support to employers for effective workforce practices. Prior to this role, Mary took a career pause to raise children while completing the SPHR certification and continuing education credits. Previous positions include HR Project Manager and Senior HR Operations Specialist at Motorola Solutions, where significant projects included insourcing the global HR Service Center and enhancing vendor management and employee satisfaction. Additional experience includes roles at ComPsych, Microsoft, and The Mom Project, with a strong foundation in talent acquisition, performance management, and compensation analysis. Mary holds a Master's Degree in Human Resources and Industrial Relations and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
