Emanuel Cotronakis

Emanuel Cotronakis has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Emanuel has held various leadership and legal roles in notable organizations.

Starting in 1996, Emanuel gained legal experience as a White House Intern in the Office of the Vice President of the United States. Later that year, they worked as a Legal Intern in the Office of the Treasurer of the United States.

Emanuel joined Squire, Sanders & Dempsey in 1998 as an Associate, where they focused on legal matters for two years. In 2000, they became a Partner at Baker & Hostetler LLP, specializing in mergers & acquisitions, securities, and corporate finance. During their tenure, they advised clients on various corporate and securities matters, including disclosure and reporting obligations.

In 2007, Emanuel served as a Trustee for the Greater Cleveland Film Commission. Emanuel contributed to the organization's initiatives for two years.

From 2009 to 2015, Emanuel took on the role of Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Jacobs Investments, Inc., a Jacobs group company. Emanuel advised the Family Office and provided strategic planning and counsel to the CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors. Additionally, they developed strategic partnerships.

During the same period, Emanuel also served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Jacobs Entertainment, Inc., a national casino operator. Emanuel counseled the company on regulatory compliance, acquisitions, and corporate finance. Emanuel also executed external affairs and investor relations functions and advised the board of directors on SEC reporting requirements.

In 2012, Emanuel became the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer at Palm Beach Securities, LLC, a FINRA member investment bank and broker dealer. Emanuel founded the regulated broker dealer and mergers and acquisitions advisory firm. Their responsibilities included sourcing and executing acquisitions and joint ventures for strategic buyers.

Emanuel joined LRP Media Group in 2015 as the Executive Vice President and General Counsel. In this role, they oversee corporate development, legal functions, and investment portfolio management. Emanuel plays a vital role in corporate acquisitions, international strategic partnerships, new product offerings, and protecting intellectual property.

In 2018, Emanuel joined HRM Asia as a Director. Emanuel supports the professional HR community in the Asia-Pacific region through print media, digital content, and events. HRM Asia is also known for organizing the largest HR Tech event in Southeast Asia, HR Tech Festival Asia.

Emanuel Cotronakis completed their education in a chronological order. Emanuel first attended North Royalton High School from the years 1985 to 1988. After high school, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics from Case Western Reserve University, studying there from 1988 to 1992. Following their undergraduate studies, they went on to Georgetown University Law Center, where they obtained a Juris Doctor (JD) degree in Law from 1995 to 1998.

In addition to their formal education, Emanuel Cotronakis also obtained several certifications. In October 2012, they acquired the Series 24 certification from FINRA. Emanuel also obtained the Series 7 and Series 79 certifications from FINRA in July 2012.
