Steve Walder has extensive experience in financial leadership roles across various industries, including hospitality, retail, and technology. Significant positions include serving as CFO for Oracle’s EMEA Hospitality & Retail segment, where notable achievements included optimizing operating expenses by 20% and integrating the acquired Micros business. Prior to Oracle, Steve held the CFO position at MICROS Systems Inc, contributing to a remarkable revenue growth from $15 million to $600 million and successfully managing strategic acquisitions. In addition to roles at KPMG and interim financial controller positions at SDL plc and Monster Energy, Steve has also served as Director of Finance and Administration at Hospitality and Retail Systems. Currently, Steve holds a non-executive director position at HRS and has consistently demonstrated strong leadership in financial management, reporting, and strategic planning throughout a career spanning over four decades. Steve holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Birmingham and is a Fellow Chartered Accountant.
