Iain Taylor

Iain Taylor is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and Senior Estimating Manager with over 40 years of experience in commercial management and cost estimating across rail, energy, high voltage power, and aviation infrastructure projects. Currently serving as a Senior Estimating Manager at HS2 Ltd, Iain has held pivotal roles in major projects such as High Speed 2, East West Rail, and at various prominent organizations including Network Rail and Mott MacDonald. Iain has demonstrated expertise in leading teams, managing contracts, and providing extensive cost estimating services, while also supporting the development of young Quantity Surveyors towards their MRICS Chartered qualifications. Iain holds multiple professional qualifications, including FRICS and MIET, and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying with commendation from Leeds Beckett University.
