Martin Short

Martin Short is a seasoned architect with extensive experience spanning several decades in the architecture and construction industry. Currently serving as Lead Architect at High Speed Two (HS2) Ltd since March 2015, Martin Short previously held roles including Senior Architect at BDP, where responsibility included overseeing the conceptual design for Whitechapel Crossrail Station, and Senior Architect at Foggo Associates, focusing on the Cannon Street underground station works. Prior positions encompass leadership roles in transport architecture at Pascall + Watson Architects, project architecture for St George’s Church at The Hurd Rolland Partnership, and significant contributions to the Jubilee Line Extension Project as Station Architect for London Bridge station. Martin Short's educational background includes a B Hons degree in Architecture from the University of Bristol and a Diploma in Architecture from Portsmouth Polytechnic.
