Richard Peters

Richard Peters is currently the Director of Cost Estimation and Data Intelligence at HS2 Ltd, where they lead a team of over 40 estimators and data analysts on a transformative railway project aimed at enhancing north-south transport capacity. Previously, Peters served as the Responsible Officer for Cost Estimation at ITER Organization, overseeing estimations for the world's first nuclear fusion reactor, and held roles at Babtie Group, Project Time & Cost, and Areva Risk Management. They earned a BSc in Applied Physics from the University of Bath and a Master of Science in Decommissioning and Environmental Clean-Up with Distinction from the University of Lancaster.
