Ruth Dunphy

Ruth Dunphy currently serves as the Chief Transformation Officer at HS2 (High Speed Two) Ltd since October 2025. Prior to this role, Ruth was the Transformation Director UK & I at Royal BAM Group from April 2019 to July 2025, where responsibilities included overseeing business strategy and transformation, managing a revenue of approximately £3 billion, and leading various initiatives in digital and sustainability. Ruth's extensive experience also includes roles as Global Finance Director and Finance Director within the Royal BAM Group, CFO of the United Kingdom National Nuclear Laboratory, UK & EMEA Group Finance Director at MWH, Finance Director at Carillion, and Trade Business Controller at AkzoNobel. Ruth holds an accountancy qualification from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and a 2.1 Honours degree in Business Economics from The University of Salford.
