Stuart Smith

Stuart Smith is a Lead Ergonomist at HS2 (High Speed Two) Ltd, with over 25 years of experience in human factors and ergonomics. They previously served as a Senior Human Factors Consultant at Abbott Risk Consulting and as a Senior Ergonomist at Network Rail. Stuart has developed expertise in human performance, accident investigation, and workplace ergonomics, and has worked with various notable clients, including Network Rail and the European Standards Agency. They hold a PhD in Human Factors from the University of Nottingham, along with additional degrees in Human Factors in Manufacturing Systems and Psychology with Sociology.
