Abhinand Augustine is a seasoned banking professional with two decades of experience specializing in credit and fraud risk management. They have held roles in both the first line and second line of defense, managing teams and processes across geographies including Asia, the Middle East, and the UK. Currently, Abhinand serves as the Global Head of Wholesale Lending Fraud Investigations, leading corporate lending fraud investigations for HSBC and establishing operational standards and capabilities from the ground up. Abhinand holds a Master’s Degree in Finance and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, both achieved with First Class honors.
