Alex Son is currently the Vice President of Investment Banking at HSBC, specializing in power, utilities, and renewable energy. They began their career with a series of internships, including positions at SoftBank Group and Deloitte Consulting, before joining HSBC as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst. Alex holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business Institutions from Northwestern University, where they were also a research assistant prior to their graduation. They completed their International Baccalaureate Diploma at West Vancouver Secondary School.
