Alex Young

Alex Young is currently the Head of Security Solution Architecture at HSBC, where they leverage their extensive background in cyber transformation, security operations, incident response, and threat intelligence. They previously held the position of Principal Security Architect at HSBC and served as a Senior Security Consultant at Adarma Security. Alongside their professional roles, Alex is a reservist in the Royal Naval Reserve since 2019 and is pursuing a research degree focused on ransomware campaign detection at Edinburgh Napier University, where they also earned a 1st Class B.Eng (Hons) in Computer and Security and Forensics and an M.Sc in Advanced Security and Digital Forensics.
