Alexander Wong

Alexander Wong currently serves as President of The Actuarial Society of Hong Kong and Group Chief Actuary at HSBC, roles held since December 2021 and November 2021, respectively. With extensive experience, Alexander has contributed to the Hong Kong Academy of Finance and The Hong Kong Federation of Insurers in various leadership capacities, including Industry Leader for Risk-Based Capital and Deputy Chair of the Task Force on Risk-based Capital Framework. Previous positions include Asia Chief Actuary at HSBC Insurance and Chief Actuary at Hang Seng Insurance Co., Ltd. Alexander holds a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from The University of Hong Kong.
