Andrea Buzzigoli

Andrea Buzzigoli is the Global Head of Wholesale Economic Response Analytics at HSBC, a position held since 2022. They previously worked as a Senior Quantitative Analyst at Bank of America - Merrill Lynch and held various roles in risk management, including Principal Risk Specialist at the Financial Services Authority and Risk Manager at the Royal Bank of Scotland. Andrea has extensive experience in credit risk models, exposure modeling, and economic capital measurement, having contributed to the Basel Committee and validation of risk models. They earned a Master’s Degree in Financial Mathematics from Universita' di Torino and have a background in music with a Diploma in Piano from Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi.
