Andrew Butterill

Andrew Butterill has a diverse professional background with extensive experience in customer service, IT security, and management. Andrew began a career at HSBC Private Bank as a Customer Service Representative Team Lead from June 1997 to June 1999, followed by various roles in IT security and management at HSBC until February 2025, including positions such as Senior Systems Security Officer and Head of Cryptographic Services. In August 2023, Andrew transitioned to self-employment as a Managing Director, overseeing a ten-member team and managing operational tasks while adhering to GDPR requirements. Andrew also provided data quality work and IT security support for Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust in late 2024, as well as first and second line IT support through ACAR Consulting. Andrew holds a Higher National Diploma in Business and Finance and is certified in Cybersecurity.
