Andrew Chaloner has extensive experience in tax administration and operations, having held various key positions at prominent financial institutions. Starting as a Senior Tax Administrator at HSBC from September 2006 to August 2010, responsibilities included managing client issues and reconciling withholding tax positions. Chaloner then served as a Corporate Tax Analyst at Citi from August 2012 to October 2013, providing tax support for securities finance and custody operations. Following this, a role in the Tax Liaison Team at Citi continued the focus on tax-related processes. After rejoining HSBC as a Senior Tax Product Manager in July 2025, Chaloner also held the position of Vice President of Operational Tax Risk and Advisory at Morgan Stanley from January 2018 to May 2025, managing operational tax risk across EMEA markets. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Operational Tax at Morgan Stanley from November 2013 to December 2017.
