Andrew Hackett is currently serving as the Global Head of the QIS Platform at HSBC, having joined the company in 2024. Prior to this role, Andrew led commodities quantitative analysis as the QIS Lead at Citi from 2017 to 2024 and held several trading and analytical positions at UBS between 2015 and 2017. Andrew started their career as a Structurer at Aspect Capital from 2006 to 2008. Academically, Andrew earned a Certificate in Quantitative Finance with Distinction from Fitch Learning and an MSci in Mathematics with First Class Honours from Imperial College, where the thesis focused on Methods of Wavelet Shrinkage for Signal Recovery.
