Angel Zao

Angel Zao is currently the Director and Asia Pacific Head of FICC Trading Compliance at HSBC, where they implement regulations and provide oversight across 18 countries. Prior to this, Zao held various roles including Senior VP in Compliance Testing at Citi and Markets Compliance at Banco Santander. With a solid background in financial engineering and law from The University of Hong Kong and The University of London, Zao has extensive experience in trading compliance and risk management within major financial institutions. Previously, Zao's roles included Capital Market Audit Manager at Citi and Vice President at Nomura, focusing on valuation control and product compliance.
