Ashish Chetan

Ashish Chetan is currently the AVP of Tax at HSBC Electronic Data Processing India Private Limited, where they manage all tax compliance matters, including direct taxes, transfer pricing, and international tax. Previously, Ashish served as a Group Manager in Tax at Mphasis Ltd from 2006 to 2011, overseeing tax compliance for multiple domestic and international entities. Earlier experience includes working as a Junior Manager at JSW Steel Ltd from 2004 to 2006, handling various tax matters. Ashish holds a Chartered Accountant degree from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, a Company Secretary qualification from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, and a B.Com (H) in Accounts and Finance from the University of Calcutta. They are also pursuing the Limited Insolvency Examination from the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India.
