Ben Eason

Ben Eason is an experienced legal and operations professional currently serving as the Head of Legal Change and Innovation at HSBC since November 2022. Prior to this, Ben held various leadership roles at Barclays from January 2012, including Director of Legal Change, Operations Business Management, and Managing Director of Legal Transformation. In these positions, Ben led cross-functional changes and strategic transformations within the Legal department, managing substantial budgets and large teams. Ben's career at Barclays was preceded by a tenure at Barclays Investment Bank, where responsibilities included overseeing FX and Commodities Post Trade Services during significant market challenges. Ben began the professional journey at JPMorgan Chase & Co., advancing to Vice President over seven years while contributing to major mergers. Ben holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Nottingham Trent University.
