Ben Leenen

Ben Leenen currently serves as the Head of Large Corporates at HSBC Netherlands, a position held since August 2015, previously functioning as a Global Relationship Manager for Large Corporates. Prior to HSBC, Ben Leenen worked at the Royal Bank of Scotland Business from September 2011 to July 2015 as a Senior Corporate Lending specialist focusing on Offshore/Maritime, Construction, and Industrial sectors. Earlier experience includes roles in US Private Placements and as a Relationship Banker at the Royal Bank of Scotland Business, as well as positions at ABN AMRO Bank and Fortis Investment Banking, where Ben Leenen specialized in corporate lending and derivatives trading. Ben Leenen holds a Master’s degree in International Economics from Utrecht University, obtained between 1994 and 2000.
