Ben Mooney

Ben Mooney is a technology risk management director with extensive experience in IT, cybersecurity, and cloud within the financial services industry. In their current role at HSBC, Ben leads the Cloud Controls team, managing approximately 40 professionals globally and ensuring risk and controls assurance for cloud platforms. Previously, Ben held various positions at HSBC, including Cybersecurity Controls Lead and Senior Operational Risk Manager, where they provided oversight and expertise in operational risk and technology controls. Ben holds a BSC (Hons) in Physics from The University of Sheffield and possesses several professional qualifications, including CGEIT and CISA.
