Blake Curtis

Blake Curtis, CFA, is the Managing Director and Head of Export Finance for Asia Pacific at HSBC, where they leverage extensive experience in corporate finance and bonding transactions. Previously, Blake held various roles at Export Development Canada over six years, focusing on transaction execution and credit adjudication in the Metals & Mining, Energy, and Resources sectors. Blake also served as Director of Structured Export Finance at Standard Chartered Bank. They possess a strong skill set in financial analysis, advanced financial modeling, risk analysis, and relationship management, and are a proud CFA Charterholder, having completed all three levels of the CFA on their first attempt. Blake earned an Honours Degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Western Ontario.
