Burcu Senel is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in risk management and business development. Currently serving as the Regional Head of ESG Risk and Chief Risk Officer for Commercial Banking and Global Banking & Markets in Asia Pacific at HSBC since June 2005, Burcu has held various key positions including Chief Executive Officer of HSBC New Zealand and Global Head of Propositions for Global Trade and Receivables Finance. Prior to joining HSBC, Burcu worked as a Senior Analyst at JP Morgan Chase. Academic credentials include an MBA in Corporate Finance and Investment Banking from Virginia Tech and a BA in International Trade from Boğaziçi University.
