Charlène Colin

Charlene Slapak Lambros, RN, MS, has over two decades of experience in nursing and healthcare informatics, currently serving as the KP HealthConnect Inpatient Application Coordinator at Kaiser Permanente since April 2003, focusing on clinical documentation, care plans, and patient education. Previously, from October 2001 to April 2003, Charlene worked as a Nursing Systems Analyst at John Muir Medical Center, where the A4 Healthmatics ED application was implemented in the emergency department of a level one trauma center. Prior to that, from July 1998 to October 2001, Charlene was a Senior Business Consultant for Convergent Medical Terminology at Kaiser Permanente, modeling clinical concepts for terminology standards. Charlene began a nursing career as a staff nurse in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Nursing Informatics from the University of California, San Francisco, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Case Western Reserve University.
