Chris Jones is the Securities Services CIO and Head of Digital Assets Technology for MSS at HSBC, where they oversee IT strategy and the development of digital asset solutions, including the recently launched Orion platform. Chris has held multiple leadership roles at HSBC, such as Head of Custody IT and Head of Architecture, Strategy, and Innovation for Securities Services. Previously, Chris co-founded and served as IT Director at Sharepeople.com, which was sold to American Express in 2001 for $45M. With over $1.8 billion in technology M&A experience, Chris leads diverse, global technology teams and holds two first-class honors degrees in Electronic Engineering and Maths and Economics.
