Daniel Butt is currently the Director of Cash Equities at HSBC Global Banking and Markets, where they have also served as the UK Head of Equities Compliance and the Global Head of Electronic Trading Compliance. Daniel previously worked at RBC Capital Markets in Equities Compliance and held the position of Vice President of Equities Compliance at Merrill Lynch from 2013 to 2016. Earlier in their career, they were an Advisory Compliance Officer for the Equity trading floor at RBS Markets & International Banking. Daniel is pursuing a Diploma in Investment Compliance from CISI and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Loughborough University.
