Datta Pendse serves as the Head of Cash Equities Technology India at HSBC, leading the Cash Equities Technology and Engineering team in Pune since July 2013. With extensive experience across various firms, Datta has held positions such as Equity Derivatives Technology Lead and Lead Business Analyst at HSBC, focusing on Equity Derivatives operations and the Sophis platform. Prior roles include Domain Consultant at Wipro Technologies, and Fidessa Analyst at MF Global, Societe Generale, and JP Morgan, where Datta managed quality assurance and contributed to system development for trading platforms. Datta’s career began as a System Analyst at Tata Consultancy Services, specializing in cash equities front office trading technology. Datta holds a Master of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Bachelor of Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
