David Hughes

David Hughes is the Head of Talent at HSBC, bringing extensive experience as a Global Talent leader across the Retail and FMCG sectors in Europe, APAC, and the Americas. Previously, David held significant roles at Walgreens Boots Alliance, where they served as the Global Head of Talent Acquisition, responsible for shaping a comprehensive talent strategy and advocating for DE&I initiatives. With a background as a Great Britain athlete, David has earned numerous domestic and international medals, reflecting a strong commitment to excellence both on and off the field. They studied Business Studies, Psychology, and Sport Studies at John Leggot College and are pursuing a degree in Exercise Science at Sheffield Hallam University.
