Derek Woo

Derek Woo is the current Head of Corporate Services Engineering for Asia Pacific at HSBC and has over 10 years of experience in the building services and construction industry. They have a strong background in Heating, Ventilation, and Air-Conditioning, having worked on diverse projects, including the award-winning Barangaroo International Towers and significant colocation data center projects in Hong Kong. Prior to their role at HSBC, Derek served as an Associate Director at Arcadis and co-managed the Hong Kong office for Norman Disney and Young, where they honed their business and financial management skills. They hold a Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Commerce from Monash University and a Master of Design Science from the University of Sydney.
