Edmund Lakin

Edmund Lakin is the Director and Head of Capital Markets Policy in Group Public Affairs at HSBC, where they focus on capital markets regulation, sustainable finance, and climate change initiatives. Their career began as an intern at Grayling, later advancing to roles at the Office of Fair Trading and Cicero Consulting, where they specialized in public affairs and stakeholder engagement. Edmund also served as an Assistant Vice President at Barclays, overseeing UK EU public policy and government relations.
