Edmund Siew is currently the Functional Head (Director) of Retail Front Office Models in Independent Model Review at HSBC. They previously served as the Global Head of Operational Risk Models and Strategic Credit Risk Manager at HSBC from 2020 to 2023 and held various roles in model review within the European Risk Strategy. Earlier in their career, Edmund gained experience as a Senior Basel LGD Modelling Analyst at the Royal Bank of Scotland and as an Industrial Trainee with the Actuarial Risk & Modelling Team at American International Assurance. They earned a First Class Honours degree in Actuarial Mathematics and Statistics from Heriot-Watt University.
