Ella Deng is a graduate of The University of Hong Kong, holding a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science with First Class Honours. Ella served as a Statistics Tutor at The University of Hong Kong from September 2019 to May 2020 and completed an actuarial internship at Manulife from July 2018 to January 2019, focusing on group health and pension actuarial analysis. Additionally, Ella gained experience as a Summer Analyst in Global Markets at HSBC during the summer of 2020, participating in Greater China Rates and Credit Trading as well as engaging in convertible bond trading and equity derivatives. Ella also took part in an exchange program at the National University of Singapore in 2019, specializing in Statistics and Data Analysis.
