Gaurav Kala

Gaurav Kala is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in infrastructure finance, currently serving as Vice President at HSBC since March 2019, where over USD 6 billion in deals have been closed within the Indian infrastructure sector. Key responsibilities include leading client engagement, structuring financing solutions, and coordinating with international rating agencies. Prior to HSBC, Gaurav held various roles such as Project Manager at Essar, Management Intern at Essmart, and Research Intern at Indian Oil Corp Limited. Gaurav holds an MBA in Finance and Operations from the Indian Institute of Management, Shillong, and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
