Gavin Lonsdale is currently an Innovation Fellow at Grow London, collaborating with the Royal College of Art to promote sustainable and inclusive growth through open innovation. They serve as the Global Head of GPS Platform, Engineering and Innovation at HSBC, leading strategic payment platform engineering efforts. Previously, Gavin held the position of Executive Director at JPMorgan Chase, where they managed global payment strategies and engineering delivery, and at Goldman Sachs, where they were the EMEA & Asia Head of Treasury Technology. Their early career included development roles in scientific instrumentation and software companies. Gavin earned a BSc (Hons) from the University of the West of England and is a Chartered member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
