Heather Baird

Heather Baird is the Global Head of Non-Financial Risk in Wholesale Banking. They have held various leadership roles in compliance and risk management, including serving as Global Chief Operating Officer for Financial Crime Compliance at Credit Suisse and Director of Group Legal & Compliance Change at Barclays. Prior to this, Heather worked as the Head of Compliance Programs & Policy at Diem Networks and held the position of Group Financial Crime Compliance at Nordea. They began their career as a Lead Telecommunications Analyst at The Bank of New York and contributed to academia as a Graduate Teaching and Research Associate at The Ohio State University, where they earned a Master's degree in Sociology. Heather also holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, and Criminology from Miami University.
