Hermione Townsend is currently the Senior Design Research Lead at HSBC. They co-founded Spaghetti Brain Ltd and served as a Design Research Lead from 2017 to 2020 while also being a lecturer in Design Thinking and Design Research at London South Bank University during that time. Previously, they coordinated Monitoring and Evaluation and Curriculum at The Children's Radio Foundation from 2013 to 2014, worked as a consultant designer for Volkswagen AG in 2016, and were a leader of learning in English at Our Lady Catholic Primary School from 2010 to 2013. Hermione holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Master of Arts from the Royal College of Art and a Master of Science from Imperial College London.
