Ian Cockerill is currently the Global Chief Corporate Credit Officer at HSBC, a position held since 2021. Before joining HSBC, they served as the Group Head of Group Special Assets Management at Standard Chartered Bank from 2017 to 2021 and spent three decades at Citi, concluding as the Managing Director and Global Head of ICG Risk - Regional Credit. Ian holds a BSc Hons in Chemistry from the University of Bristol, which they completed between 1984 and 1987.
