Ian Glasner is currently the Group Head of Emerging Technology, Innovation, and Ventures at HSBC, where they lead initiatives in AI, digital assets, quantum technology, innovation, and venture capital. They served as a Managing Director and Chief of Staff in Digital Business Services at HSBC from 2021 to 2023 and were a Board Member at the Global Fund for Children starting in 2022. Ian co-founded and served as CEO of Refill Inc. from 2014 to 2016, focusing on innovative point-of-sale solutions for the hospitality industry. They have also held roles at significant organizations such as Apple, Google, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and Carnegie Mellon University, where they were a member of the President’s Advisory Board until 2021. Additionally, Ian is recognized as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum starting in 2024.
