Jake Hartmann

Jake Hartmann is currently the Managing Director and Head of US Financial Institutions Debt Capital Markets at HSBC, where they lead the US FIG DCM practice, focusing on Treasury, Corporate Finance, and Capital Structure Advisory. Previously, they held various roles in debt capital markets, including Director positions at Barclays and Deutsche Bank, and served as a Consultant at Tigris Consulting. Jake has extensive experience covering insurers, banks, and financial companies across global markets, contributing to bond issuances in numerous currencies and complex capital structures. They earned a BA in Economics from the University of Chicago and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where they also contributed to research at the Stigler Centre.
