James Rydge is a climate change economist with extensive experience in environmental finance and policy. They served as an ESG Analyst at Kepler Cheuvreux from 2021 to 2022 and were a Senior Policy Fellow at The London School of Economics and Political Science from 2009 to 2021, closely collaborating with Lord Nicholas Stern on international climate finance. Additionally, from 2013 to 2016, Rydge was the Lead Economist for the New Climate Economy Project, where they contributed to influential reports on sustainable infrastructure and carbon pricing. Currently, Rydge holds the position of Director, ESG at HSBC and has a PhD in Financial Economics from The University of Sydney.
