James Wilkinson

James Wilkinson is currently the Head of Private Equity Fund Investments at HSBC Alternatives, a position they have held since 2020. Prior to this role, they served as Managing Director at HSBC Principal Investments for a decade, from 2010 to 2020. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Assistant Director in Transaction Advisory Services at Ernst & Young from 2008 to 2010 and held various positions, including Manager of Asset Management Internal Audit, at HSBC from 2003 to 2007. James earned a BA Hons in History from The University of Birmingham and completed professional qualifications at ACA and CFA.
