John Barron

John Barron is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in banking and treasury management. Since March 2014, John has served as the Manager of GB&M Business MI and Planning at HSBC Global Banking and Markets. Prior to this role, John held various positions at HSBC from February 2004 to March 2006, including Treasury Financial Controller, Senior Treasury Analyst, Manager of Global Markets Finance, and Senior Treasury Accountant. Earlier in John’s career, a tenure as a Treasury Accountant was completed at N M Rothschild & Sons (Australia) Limited from 1998 to January 2004. John holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from the University of Canberra, earned between 1990 and 1994.
