John Chua

John Chua is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in risk management and control. Beginning a career at SIMEX in derivative risk management, John later transitioned to SGX following the merger with SES. John held various senior management positions at Standard Chartered Bank, including Global Head of Credit Control & Reporting, and served as Head of Trading Risk Reporting & Control at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. Before assuming the role of Regional Head of Traded Risk Control for Asia Pacific at HSBC, John was Vice President of Product Control at Credit Suisse. John Chua holds a Master's degree in Financial Engineering from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor's degree in Banking from Nanyang Technological University.
