John Fielder is the Head of EMEA Equities FIX Connectivity at HSBC Global Banking and Markets, where they manage client connectivity for global equities trading. With over thirty years of experience in equities trading and FIX protocol, John has developed extensive expertise in international stock markets, custody, and settlement services. They played a key role in implementing SETS for the London Stock Exchange and have been involved with the FIX Trading Community since 2000. John previously served as a Consultant for various financial institutions and was the Head of Market Documentation at the London Stock Exchange. Currently, John is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in English Literature at the University of Bristol.
