John Parkinson

John Parkinson is the Global Head of Governance and Controls for HSBC WPB Technology, bringing over 20 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Architecture, and Data Quality. Having previously served as the Global Head of Data Architecture at HSBC and as a Global Enterprise Data Architect at Capgemini, they have a proven track record in leading multi-disciplinary projects and developing innovative solutions. John is a published author, with works including "The Data Quality Blueprint" and "Introduction to Data Architecture," and remains actively involved in the International Association for Information and Data Quality and DAMA UK. They hold a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Civil Engineering and Architecture from the University of Leeds. Outside of professional pursuits, John is an enthusiastic rock climber.
