Jonathan Sparks

Jonathan Sparks is the Chief Investment Officer and Managing Director for UK & CI Private Banking and Wealth at HSBC, a position held since 2021. Prior to this, they served as Chief Market Strategist and Head of Investment Strategy at HSBC between 2016 and 2018, and worked in global investment strategy and as a research analyst at Citi from 2013 to 2016. Earlier in their career, they held roles as Portfolio Strategy Manager and Portfolio Manager at Coutts from 2007 to 2010. Jonathan holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree from the University of Nottingham, which they completed in 2000.
