Jorge Tapia

Jorge Tapia is a transformational growth force at the intersection of Technology, Risk, Trade, and Working Capital, currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at IE University and CUNEF Universidad. With a strong focus on executing transformational projects, they have extensive experience in analyzing complex situations and driving innovation across diverse teams globally. Previously, Jorge held leadership positions at Citi as Managing Director for EMEA and Asia Pacific, and was involved in significant initiatives such as establishing a trading vehicle for balance sheet management and launching the first multibank securitization of trade finance assets. Additionally, Jorge has served as Deputy CEO for Asia-Pacific at Banco Santander and has been appointed to advisory roles with the International Chamber of Commerce and other industry organizations.
