Laurence Ryan

Laurence Ryan is a senior risk manager with extensive experience in Credit and Market Risk, currently serving as the European Head of Financial Institutions Credit Risk at HSBC since 2006. In this role, Laurence leads a team overseeing complex financial institutions and structured products, with a focus on credit approval and portfolio risk management. Prior to HSBC, Laurence held significant roles at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein as Vice President in Global Risk Management and at KBC Bank as a Risk Manager. Laurence holds a B.Sc. (Econ.) in Economics and Philosophy from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
